well the first official week of 2009 is over...
how was it?
did you do anything different this week compared to last?
yeah me neither lol, HOWEVER I did start my New Year off with a karaoke duet involving Jill Bucco. Amazing what a few vodka tonics can get you to do.
Other than our incredible rendition of Journey's "Don't Stop Believeing", the first week of '09 was pretty mellow.
I've never understood the whole New Year's resolution theory. You make a promise to do "something" which 90% of us end up breaking anyway. As for the 10% that actually follow thru, well they've obviously got too much time on their hands and probably worship Suri Cruise sitting pretty in her "mother-ship" made by Tyco toy company. I mean really, WHO HAS TIME to actually follow thru?
Sure, we all have good intensions but in the end you take the good, you take the bad, you take them all, and there ya have...speaking of which whatever happened to Ms. Garrett? Sure, Jo and Tootie went on to have promising careers but you never hear anything about Blair or Natalie.
As we speak (or type) I'm sitting here in the FM100 studio talking to Jill Bucco (I like to consider myself a multi-tasker.) We were discussing our weekend plans. She's headed out of town to the beautiful state of Missouri. The beautiful rolling hills, the purple mountains magesty, that arch looking thing...such a great city. As for me, my weekend plans consist of good friends, a vodka tonic, and most likely will end up fetal position in one of our fine drinking establishments.
To conclude, I would like to remind you that we are gathered here today to get through this thing called life...and if the elevator tries to breakdown go crazy...GO CRAZY!
